Dance

Your studio will give you a date and time to arrive for your portraits. Students will be photographed in all costumes both individually and as a class.

No. In fact, we ask that you do not have individual photos taken in costumes that you do not like. However, you will still need to be photographed for the group photo.

We only photograph one close-up photo. Close-up photos are taken in the first costume photographed unless otherwise specified.

Each child will be photographed in 2 full length poses plus 1 close-up (headshot). Children under age 7 will be photographed in 3 full length poses plus a close-up. However, the number of poses may vary per school. More advanced dancers may choose their own posing.

Check with your studio to see if there is another photo day scheduled. We will only be there on the dates scheduled with the studio. We do not come back for absentee or retakes.

Donner Photographic will come back to your studio with preprinted portrait packages of the poses that were photographed on photo day. Your specialized sales representative will lay your child’s portraits out for you to view. You are under no obligation to purchase. Any portraits you wish to purchase are available to take home the same day!

You will receive an email within 2-3 days that will have information if we are coming back to your studio for another picture pick up day.

If we are not coming back again, you will receive an email within 2-3 days with your unique information to go online to view and purchase your portraits.

We strongly advise that you attend picture pick up day because we offer special discounted pricing. Online pricing is higher after picture pick up day and photos are not available to view online until after the last picture pick up day.

Sign in to your customer portal at dp-customers.com. Click on the Shop button from the main menu. You will be prompted to choose a gallery to shop from or add your gallery by referencing your Tag and UID numbers. Then choose the category you would like to shop from such as prints, packages etc. Choose the product, select an image, and add to cart!

Prints & Packages
Printed portraits are sent immediately to our professional in-house lab for processing. Orders are shipped from our facility within 48 hours. An $8.00 shipping fee applies to all printed portraits. Please add approximately 3-5 business days for USPS shipping.

Specialty Items
Some items are shipped directly from our vendor. These items may take up to two weeks for delivery and are charged an additional $8.00 drop shipping fee per order

We accept cash, checks, and all major credit cards.

We process all check electronically and use a 3rd party collection agency. Returned checks may be re-processed electronically. A $20 returned check fee may be deducted from your account.

ALL sales are final. You are under no obligation to purchase anything. No portraits can be returned back to the sales table or returned through the mail.

School

You should have received a money envelope with all your photo day information on it. If you have not received this, please contact your school for a copy.

We allow each school to choose the backgrounds that they wish to offer on photo day. What ever backgrounds are shown on your money envelope as an option is what your school has decided to offer.

We leave this option open to each school. Your school decides whether or not to offer sibling photos. A sibling photo is 2 or more children in the same family photographed together in one portrait.

If your school is offering sibling photos, you must turn in a money envelope to the school listing the children that will be photographed together. The sibling photo is not part of the Family Free Program.

If your school has scheduled a retake/absentee day, you must notify the school that you need a retake so that your child will be added to the list of students to be photographed. You must return your original package to the photographer on retake/absentee day to receive a replacement portrait package.

If a retake/absentee day is not offered, you may return your entire portrait package for a refund.

Some elementary schools may participate in our Family Free program. If your school participates, please check your money envelope for details.

Only the first two children in the family photographed pay for packages. Any additional children attending the same school will receive the same package for free.

Each eligible child must turn in a separate & completed envelope clearly marked “FREE”.

You must include a separate sheet inside your envelope(s) listing the paid & free children. If the list is not provided, your orders will not be processed.

If you wish to prepay online using the Family Free program, you can prepay for the first 2 children online. However, the third child must turn in a money envelope clearly stating that this is part of the Family Free program and MUST list who the paid siblings are. Any money envelope turned in without this information will be held for further clarification.

To prepay, you need to enter your Tag number. This number identifies which school your child attends. This number is located on the money envelope that the school sent home under the section that says PREPAY ONLINE.

If your child is new to the school, they may not have been included in the information the school provided us. Don’t worry, you can still prepay online, just send us an email at data@donner-photo.com so we can add your child’s name to the list. Be sure to include the school name, child’s name and the teacher's name in the body of the email. We’ll let you know as soon as your child is added.

A sibling photo is two or more children in the same family photographed together in one portrait. Sibling photos cannot be prepaid online at this time. If your school is offering sibling photos, you must turn in a money envelope to the school listing the children that will be photographed together. The sibling photo is not part of the Family Free Program.

If your child had their photo taken on photo day, but you did not purchase a package, you will receive an informational sheet sent home from the school 2-3 weeks after photo day. To view your photos, you will need to add your gallery to your account. From the home screen under the "School" heading, click the "Add Your Gallery Now" button. You can also click any button or link that says "Add Gallery". You will need your TAG and UID which is provided on the information sheet sent home from the school. This is unique to your child.

If we cannot process your order in its entirety, a letter will be sent home explaining the reason. These reasons include, but are not limited to:
  • No photo was taken
  • No package was indicated on the money envelope
  • No payment was recieved
  • Payment in full was not recieved
In the event no photo was taken, please contact the school to see if there is a retake day or you may contact us to request a refund.

If you are prepaying for your child’s school pictures either online or with a money envelope, your order will be shipped directly to the school. Delivery times vary per school. Specialty Items are sent in a separate shipment to your home address, approximately two weeks after the portrait delivery.

One of the perks of prepaying online is that you have the ability to ship your order directly to your home rather than having it go directly to the school for your child to bring home. There is a $8.00 shipping fee for this service. Ship to home time varies.

If you are prepaying with a money envelope please read the print located on the bottom-right of the envelope. This will tell you if cash, check or money envelopes are accepted. The payment methods are dependent on what the school chooses to accept. We always accept all major credit cards when you prepay online at dp-customers.com. Paying online is fast, secure, and convenient.

Yes. Sign in to your customer portal at dp-customers.com. You can change your email address at any time in the Account page. The email address you choose to replace it with will override your previous email. All your images and galleries will remain under the new email address.

Always be sure to write your passwords down in a secure spot. You can click the "Forgot Password?" link on the dp-customers.com. Login screen and your password will be emailed to you.

In the event that that there is a problem with your order, we can reach you for questions. Also in the future, we will be able to text you your order status.

Sign in to your customer portal at dp-customers.com. From the main menu bar, click on Downloads. Then click the "download" button next to the image you wish to download. Save it to your computer or mobile device.

Yes! Sign in to your customer portal at dp-customers.com. From the main menu bar, click on the Downloads tab. At the top of that page, there will be a link to a word document called "Print Release Form". Click the link to view and print the release.

Our digital images are high resolution. High resolution images are at least 300 pixels per inch and we shoot our images for an 8’x10’ crop. This resolution makes for good print quality photos up to poster size.

Broken or damaged items must be reported within 60 days of receipt. Please take a picture of the damaged item and email it to KimK@donner-photo.com. Please include your order number, name, address, phone number, and school name in the body of the email.
